Exterior flat for full view
Client: Total Quality Logistics (TQL)
Project: Quarterly Mailer Redesign
Type: Print Collateral / Brand Communication
Size: 11” x 25.5” flat / double-sided
Tools Used: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop
Objective: To refresh the design of TQL’s quarterly mailer while maintaining the company’s bold, well-established branding. The challenge was to introduce a new visual direction that felt fresh and engaging, yet still consistent with the company's identity and tone.
Role: I led the project from initial concept through to final delivery, including multiple rounds of exploration, design proofs, and internal feedback. The process required close collaboration with the in-house marketing team to refine the messaging and creative direction. I also worked directly with the external print house to ensure the final product was optimized for print and met all mailing requirements.
Results:
• Final design established a refreshed visual language for future editions
• Improved readability and engagement through clearer hierarchy and modern layout
• Delivered on time with flawless print execution thanks to vendor coordination
• Project served as a design benchmark for future quarterly communications
Take Away: This project reinforced the importance of persistence in the creative process; several design iterations were essential to balancing innovation with brand consistency. It also highlighted the impact of strong communication between creative, marketing, and production teams in bringing a complex print piece to life successfully.
