Client: Wild Winds Buffalo Preserve
Project: Event/Exhibit Promotional Design
Type: Print Collateral / Awareness Campaign
Size: 6x9 flat / one-sided
Tools Used: Adobe InDesign & Illustrator
Objective: Design a bold, attention-grabbing print piece to promote Come See the Buffalo—a public-facing event/exhibit celebrating the cultural, ecological, or historical significance of the American buffalo. The goal was to evoke curiosity and invite people to engage with the theme in a meaningful way, whether educational, artistic, or conservation-focused.
Role: I led the design from initial concept through final production. The process began with a consultation to understand the couple’s aesthetic and wedding theme. I curated mood boards, developed custom layouts, and selected typography, paper stock, and color palette. Deliverables included the invitation, RSVP card, details insert, and matching envelopes—each element cohesive in look and feel. I also worked closely with the printer to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Results
• Successfully used to promote [event, exhibit, or initiative] across multiple touch points

Take Away: Come See the Buffalo was a great exercise in thematic storytelling through design. It taught me how to communicate a strong, place-based narrative visually, while keeping messaging accessible and bold. This project also emphasized how design can spark curiosity and deepen public connection to cultural or environmental topics.
